What is Axis

Verified robot manipulation data, at foundation-model scale.

01

A community data engine

Contributors around the world teleoperate simulated robots through structured manipulation tasks. Their demonstrations become the training data behind Axis's robot foundation models.

02

Quality-verified, end to end

Every submission is replayed in simulation and checked for physical consistency, then scored through rule-based success checks and VLM keyframe assessment. Invalid work never reaches the training pool.

03

Receipts on-chain

Each accepted trajectory is recorded on Base with its quality score — over 1.5M records and counting. The dataset's provenance is publicly auditable before any token exists.

Backed by a $12M seed round led by Hack VC, with Nomad Capital, Pi Network Ventures, and 10K Ventures. Learn more ↗

Eligibility

Who can participate

Identity verification

All participants complete KYC (individuals) or KYB (businesses) through Sonar by Echo before committing. Connecting a wallet alone does not make you eligible.

Restricted jurisdictions

The sale is not available to participants from 27 restricted jurisdictions, or where participation would be unlawful. Sanctions and wallet-risk screening apply on top. See the full list

United States

U.S. persons, and anyone located in the United States, cannot participate. The sale is offered outside the U.S. under Regulation S, and there is no accredited-investor path. See the full list

Per-participant limits

Commitment limits are enforced per verified entity, not per wallet — splitting across wallets does not increase your allocation.

FAQ

Questions

Before the sale — sign-in, verification, eligibility

Do I need to do anything before the window opens?+
Yes. Register on Sonar and complete verification now. Only verified, eligible entities can commit, and verification is not instant. Once you're verified the page tells you you're ready, and nothing else is needed until September 21, 2026, 05:00 UTC.
What is Sonar?+
Sonar is Echo's on-chain token sale infrastructure. It handles sign-in, identity verification (KYC/KYB), eligibility, and the compliant purchase flow. Axis hosts this page; verification and registration happen on Sonar.
Who can participate?+
Anyone who completes identity verification through Sonar and is not in a restricted jurisdiction. The sale is offered outside the United States under Regulation S: U.S. persons and anyone located in the U.S. cannot participate, and there is no accredited-investor path. Six jurisdictions — Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Ukraine — are banned on Sonar itself, on every sale it hosts, regardless of Axis's own criteria. The full list of 27 restricted jurisdictions is in the investor disclaimer.Investor disclaimer
How does verification work?+
You sign in on Sonar, create an individual or business investing entity, and complete KYC or KYB there: an ID document and, where requested, proof of address. Some participants are also asked to pass a quick liveness check; Sonar requires it only when an account is flagged, so not everyone sees it. Your identity documents never touch Axis — Axis reads only the eligibility result you authorize. Do it during pre-registration, so you're ready when the window opens.
My verification is stuck, or my documents were rejected. What do I do?+
Proof of address is where most people get stuck. Government-issued documents work best; neobank statements, shipping labels and payment-only documents such as receipts are rejected, and scans can be mis-flagged as screenshots — retake a live photo of the physical document if in doubt. Never upload an edited or generated document. If you are stuck in review or see a setup failure, email [email protected] with your Sonar account email, the wallet address involved and the exact error text — never your documents.
Why does the page say my entity can't participate?+
Either verification passed but this entity is not eligible for this sale — because of your jurisdiction, U.S. status or a screening result — or verification failed for a reason that cannot be fixed. Review the details on your Sonar entity page; if it does not explain why, email [email protected] with your Sonar account email, the wallet address involved and the exact text shown — never your documents. Connecting a different wallet does not change it: eligibility belongs to your verified entity, not to a wallet.Your entity on Sonar ↗Email Sonar support
How are wallets screened?+
Every wallet is risk-screened when it is linked to your entity and again before each commitment. Medium risk (exposure to gambling sites, no-KYC exchanges, instant swap services) blocks that wallet; you can still take part with a different one. High risk (mixers, scams, theft, darknet markets, sanctioned actors) blocks your entire entity. Risk is assessed on the entity, so a risky wallet linked in a previous Sonar sale can affect you here. Use a clean or fresh wallet that you fund directly for this sale.
How do Axis Points relate to the sale?+
Axis Points are non-transferable and are not tokens. Any relationship between contributor activity and this sale will be announced by the Axis team; nothing on this page grants or implies a conversion of points into tokens.
Where does the token come from?+
AXIS is an ERC-20 on Base with a hard-capped total supply of 1,000,000,000 AXIS. The sale contract is Sonar's standard sale contract, owned and controlled by Axis; Sonar holds no administrative keys.
Is this investment advice? Will the price go up?+
No. Nothing on this page is investment advice or a recommendation to participate, and no claim is made about the future value of AXIS or where it may trade. You may lose the entire amount you commit. Read the investor disclaimer and the Terms of Service before participating.Investor disclaimerTerms of Service
Where do I get help?+
Verification, KYC, account and wallet-screening questions go to Sonar: [email protected]. Include your Sonar account email, the wallet address involved and the exact error message; typical replies come within a business day. Sale questions and announcements come from Axis's official channels, starting with @axisrobotics on X. Axis will never DM you a different sale link or ask for your seed phrase or private key.@axisrobotics on X ↗

Committing

When is the sale?+
The commitment window opens September 21, 2026, 05:00 UTC and closes September 28, 2026, 05:00 UTC. Pre-registration is open now: sign in and complete verification so you are ready the moment it opens. The page switches from the countdown to the commit form by itself.
What is a commitment?+
During the window, eligible participants commit USDC on Base to the sale contract from this page. Your wallet asks you to confirm two transactions: an approval for the sale contract to take the USDC, then the commitment itself. Confirm promptly — each commitment carries a Sonar permit valid for ten minutes; if it lapses the page fetches a new one and you confirm again. Your position and a link to the transaction then appear on the page.
Which wallet should I connect?+
The wallet that holds the USDC you will commit — the address that sends the transaction is the one linked to your verified entity. Browser extensions appear as their own rows. Use WalletConnect for a mobile wallet, a Safe, Ledger Live or a custodian such as Fireblocks or Coinbase Prime; for a Safe, the Safe address itself is what connects, not a signer's wallet. Connecting a wallet alone does not make you eligible.
How much can I commit?+
Between $100 and $100,000 in total per verified entity, across all your commitments. Limits are enforced per entity, not per wallet, so splitting across wallets does not raise them.
Can I change or cancel my commitment?+
You can increase a commitment, never decrease or cancel it. This sale has no cancellation window: once you confirm, the funds stay in the sale contract until settlement. The only way funds come back is the automatic refund, after settlement, of any portion that is not filled or is rejected. Commit only what you are comfortable with.
How do I know I'm sending to the right contract?+
The official sale contract address is shown in the Sale details section of this page and on Axis's official channels. Your wallet may warn about a contract it has not seen before — check that the address it shows matches the one on this page, and only ever use the official sale URL.
Do I need ETH as well?+
Yes, a little. The approval and the commitment are two transactions on Base, so keep a small amount of ETH on Base for gas alongside your USDC.
Something went wrong when I tried to commit.+
If the page says the sale is outside the window or commitments are paused, the window is not open on Sonar's side; your verification remains valid and any change to the window is announced on Axis's official channels. If a transaction reverted, open the explorer link, make sure you have ETH for gas and enough USDC, and try again. If your session expired, sign in with Sonar again — nothing you committed is lost.

After the window closes

The window has closed. What happens now?+
Axis works out everyone's final allocation, records it on the sale contract, then triggers refunds, then collects the proceeds. Sonar calls this settlement; it completes within a few days of the close, and Axis is aiming to finish the next day. The page reads “Allocations are settling” while it runs; nothing is needed from you.
When will I know how many tokens I get?+
Once Axis records allocations on the contract, the page shows “Your final allocation” for each of your entities: what you committed, what was accepted, and what is being refunded. This appears before any refund reaches your wallet.
How is my allocation calculated?+
If the total committed is $1,000,000 or less, commitments are normally filled in full at $0.10 per AXIS. If it is more, accepted commitments are normally scaled down by the same percentage: accepted = your commitment × ($1,000,000 ÷ the total of commitments accepted into the round), and tokens = accepted USDC ÷ $0.10. Axis may accept, reduce, or reject individual commitments at its discretion under the Terms of Service; a rejected commitment is refunded in full and is not counted in that total, so the live “Total committed” figure on this page can be higher than the figure used for scaling. Example: $5,000 committed when $2,000,000 is committed in total gives $2,500 accepted (50%), 25,000 AXIS, and $2,500 USDC refunded.
Can Axis reject or reduce my commitment?+
Yes. Under the Terms of Service (section 14.2) Axis may accept, reduce, or reject any commitment at its discretion — for example for legal, regulatory, or screening reasons, or to manage the size and composition of the round. A rejected or reduced commitment is refunded automatically to the wallet it was committed from, in the same refund run as everyone else's, and no action is needed from you.Terms of Service
What if less than $1,000,000 is committed in total?+
The sale still completes. Commitments are normally accepted in full at $0.10 per AXIS and nothing is refunded. There is no minimum the round must reach, so an undersubscribed round does not return funds; refunds happen when the round is oversubscribed and commitments are scaled down, or when a commitment is reduced or rejected (see “Can Axis reject or reduce my commitment?”).
Do I have to claim my refund?+
No. Refunds are sent automatically to the wallet you committed from once allocations are finalised. There is no claim button and nothing to sign.
Which wallet gets the refund?+
The same wallet that sent the commitment. If you committed from more than one wallet, each gets back its own unfilled portion.
Do I pay gas for the refund?+
No. The refund transaction is sent to you; there is nothing to pay to receive it.
I committed and it was all accepted. Will I get anything back?+
No refund is due, so nothing is sent. The page shows “Settled in full”.
My allocation is showing but the refund has not arrived. Is something wrong?+
Not necessarily. Allocations are written first and refunds are triggered only after they are finalised, so a gap of hours to a couple of days between the two is normal. If your refund has not arrived by the end of the settlement period Axis announces, contact Axis through its official channels with your wallet address.
Can I change or withdraw my commitment after the window closes?+
No. Commitments are final once the window closes. Anything not accepted is refunded.
When do I receive my AXIS tokens?+
After settlement, at TGE. The schedule is: 25% at TGE, plus a community bonus of 5–25% of the allocation that is fully unlocked at TGE · the remaining 75% after a 6-month cliff, linear over the following 6 months. The TGE date and the way tokens are delivered will be announced by Axis; tokens are not distributed through this page and no action is needed from you until then.
What is the community bonus?+
On September 29, 2026 Axis improved the unlock terms for sale participants. 25% of your allocation now unlocks at TGE (it was 10%), and every participant who received an allocation also gets extra AXIS, the community bonus, fully unlocked at TGE. The remaining 75% of your allocation keeps the original schedule: a 6-month cliff, then linear over the following 6 months. Your allocation card shows your own numbers.
How is my bonus calculated?+
Your bonus rate is 5% + 20% ÷ (1 + (x ÷ 2,472)²), where x is your investing entity's original commitment in USDC, before pro-rata. The rate is applied to your final AXIS allocation after settlement, not to what your original commitment would have bought. Smaller commitments get a rate close to 25%; larger ones approach 5%, but bigger commitments always receive more bonus tokens in total. Example: $1,000 committed → $420.35 accepted (42.03%) → 4,203.46 AXIS. The rate is 22.19%, so the bonus is 932.64 AXIS, and at TGE you receive 1,050.86 (25%) + 932.64 = 1,983.50 AXIS.
Why are my numbers slightly higher than the table Axis posted?+
The announcement table used an estimated pro-rata of 41.77%, worked out before some commitments were rejected. The final pro-rata is 42.03%, so real allocations, bonuses and TGE amounts are about 0.64% higher than the table. Your allocation card uses your actual on-chain amounts.
I committed from more than one wallet. How does the bonus work?+
The bonus is set per verified investing entity: x is your entity's total original commitment across all its wallets, so splitting a commitment across wallets neither raises nor lowers it. Your card shows the total for your entity. At distribution, the bonus is split across your wallets in proportion to each wallet's allocation.
Will my refund be in USDC?+
Yes. Refunds are in USDC, the same token you committed, on Base.
